Our Client

In this role, you will be assigned to our Melbourne-based media production client. They pride themselves on making art, not just content, and specialize in campaigns, video production, and photography with originality and innovation. By focusing on increasing engagement and reinforcing brand awareness, they help their clients reach their goals and make dreams happen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Brand Understanding & Strategy
    • Familiarize yourself with clients’ branding documents and social media strategies
    • Understand client goals and how they translate into actionable social media tasks
  • Engagement & Community Management
    • Respond to comments and direct messages with appropriate, brand-aligned responses
    • Engage with followers by liking and commenting on posts, running polls and Q&As, and sharing user-generated content
    • Monitor mentions of the brand and relevant hashtags, and engage with posts, sharing mentions via stories
    • Build a positive online community by highlighting customer stories and fostering connections with local businesses and influencers
    • Respond to comments within 2 days and review collaboration requests if applicable
  • Content Management
    • Maintain a content calendar to ensure regular posting of photos, reels, and event promotions
    • Schedule posts using Canva based on the content calendar
    • Collaborate in creating or sourcing content that aligns with the brand’s voice and aesthetics, including posts, stories, and event promotions
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Track and report on social media metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and post reach
    • Prepare monthly performance reports with insights for improvement
    • Conduct competitor analysis, tracking trends and strategies

Your Background

  • Proficient in reading and writing in English
  • A basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Knowledge of the following software and tools:
    • Google Drive
    • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) – Training will also be provided
    • Canva – Design and scheduling tool
    • com – Project management tool (training provided)
    • Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn – For managing social media accounts
  • Sense of humour and creativity in engaging with social media audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and good time management
  • Basic computer skills and phone handling
