The firm is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant who is passionate about delivering exceptional financial services and driving client success.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions for a diverse portfolio of clients, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end closing activities.
- Perform accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations to clients, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify opportunities for tax optimization and savings.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their accounting and financial inquiries.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient accounting processes and procedures, enhancing productivity and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance to clients.
- Work closely with the outsourced CFO team, providing financial insights and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Your Background
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting and tax accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a public accounting firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop and Online is essential.
- Previous tax preparation experience, including forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members remotely.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional client service and building strong client relationships.
