Our Client

This client is an internationally awarded product development company that specializes in designing, developing and manufacturing innovative products with comprehensive intellectual property strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Design: Assist & collaborate with design director and team in product development and management of client projects, but not limited to profiling suppliers, providing supporting documentation necessary for internal documentation.
• Creation of Patent Illustrations: Co-ordinate with patent attorneys from different firms to create and distribute illustrations for patent fillings respective to the outcome.
• Tool Design: Assist & collaborate with design director and team in product development in analysing, designing and formulating “tool/mould” design solutions for manufacturing, but not limited to profiling suppliers, in-house 3D printing, providing supporting documentation necessary for internal documentation.
• Prototyping & Manufacturing: Preparation and administering support for creating and supplying prototypes and/or manufactured products, including visiting on-site and communicating with relative suppliers.

• You must diligently and faithfully serve the Employer and preserve its secrets, Confidential Information, Intellectual Property and promote its interests

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field, ideally within design, architectural drafting
• High software proficiency in SolidWorks and Keyshot
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Google Sheets and Google Docs
• Has an appreciation of “Design Thinking” methodologies and preferred approach in adopting Human Centered Design methodologies to their practicing designs
• Experience in producing technical specifications
• Good file management and digital folder organization
• Provide exceptional customer service – phone or face-to-face
• Preferred proficiency in Blender software.
• Experience in making assembly instructions is a plus
• Proficient with Photoshop, any graphic design knowledge/experience or any 3D rendering programme design is highly regarded
• Excellent written and oral English skills
• Confident, very well organized with keen attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Committed and a quality-driven individual
