Your Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services. You will work with a talented team of developers and designers to create robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js for front-end development.
• Manage and maintain Linux (Debian) servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable JavaScript code.
• Design and implement APIs for seamless integration between different systems.
• Develop and maintain applications using the Laravel Framework.
• Work with MS SQL Server, including developing and maintaining stored procedures and configuring ODBC for database connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform code reviews, and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Extensive experience with WordPress and WordPress plugin development
• Experience with API development and RESTful services
• Experience with MS SQL Server, including developing and maintaining stored procedures and configuring ODBC for database connectivity.
• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries
• Strong understanding of Linux (Debian) administration and shell scripting
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and asynchronous programming
• Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel Framework
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js or Angular
• Experience with database design and optimization (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimization
